The difference in detail.

The pipe

Conventional PE-100-RC pipe is coiled small and only strapped once.

This means that each individual loop has to be laboriously turned larger when laying. To do this, two strong helpers have to lift the waistband and turn it at the stand while a third helper pulls the current loop larger.

The RGK special pipe is therefore wound as large as the typical width of an excavator's humus/trench bucket: 1.80 m in diameter. The pipe fits exactly to the preferred trench width, eliminating the need to turn the loops larger...

A pipe collar that has only been strapped once tends to fall apart when opened. This can be avoided by applying a tensioning strap, but this is tedious because the tensioning strap cannot simply be placed around the outside of the collar without blocking the removal of further loops.

The RGK special pipe is therefore bonded in layers. It retains its compact collar shape during installation until the end ...

Conventional PE-100-RC pipe runs from a wide variety of production lines. Some of them apply the meter imprint by inkjet. However, this becomes blurred when unrolling in the trench.

The RGK special pipe always has an embossed thermal imprint that is indelible. Construction projects often take longer than planned. For this reason, the RGK special pipe is equipped with 2 years of UV protection so that longer outdoor storage on the construction site is not a problem.

The distributor

Conventional distributors sit behind the house entry on the wall.

To do this, they have to be attached separately and the collector pipe has to be deflected several times using fittings. This means additional work and causes additional pressure loss.

Due to its axial dimension, the RGK special manifold can be fitted directly onto individual standard DN100 RDS feedthroughs. Without fittings or fastening.

Bio-Sole ready-mix - 11 degrees

Conventional brine is glycol-based. Glycol is corrosive and therefore requires protective additives. This means that glycol brine must not be further diluted. Mixing with local water occasionally leads to undesirable reactions such as algae formation or biofilm and thus to malfunctions of the heat pump.

The special Greenflow brine is an ethanol-based ready-mix used by leading heat pump manufacturers. It has a frost protection level optimized for the RGK down to -11°

Greenflow can be used indefinitely due to the absence of anti-corrosion additives. The ready-mix with process water ensures maximum operational safety and protection against algae formation/biofilm. As a ready-mix, it is naturally more expensive than concentrates.
